Health & Safety is at the core of all production processes with no work undertaken until a comprehensive, job-specific method statement and risk assessment has been approved. Our aim is to minimise the number of instances of occupational accidents and ultimately to achieve an accident-free workplace.Health & Safety - Correct use of ladders

We are able to demonstrate our commitment by:

  • Being Achilles and CHAS registered
  • ISO 9001 certified
  • Accredited to the FIRAS certification scheme
  • Registered with Environmental Agency

Mandatory H&S training is essential for any construction company. We can demonstrate that all our operatives have CSCS certification to show their competence and understanding of Health & Safety on construction sites. In addition operatives will have IPAF, PASMA, First Aid and specific supervisor training as required. We have an ongoing training programme allowing our supervisors and operatives to achieve qualifications in fire protection in the form of FIRAS training and NVQ’s

Health & Safety - Use of Barriers

As a FIRAS Certified company we demonstrate compliance with industry standards and product manufacturer installation instructions to assure clients that the fire protection installed is correct to specification and will afford the required fire protection. It requires the operative to have sufficient experience to assess a penetration as it is presented on site for the most efficient fire stopping solution.

To protect your company, use a FIRAS registered sub-contractor. If this is not possible consider asking for an independent inspection towards the end of the contract.

Quick note to say that your supervisors were fully engaged and contributed well in today’s Supervising IFE orientation. They ‘got’ the aim of the presentation and gave many examples of the techniques that we are employing across the hospitals as we try to create an injury free environment. They were a credit to you and Pyrotect.
