Chris Goodison started his construction career in 1987 as a management trainee with John Laing Construction.

During this 5 year programme, he was a sponsored student at Leeds University.  Here he completed both HND and Chartered Institute of Building examinations.

Site based roles commenced with Site Engineer and later Site Agent on the Tallagh Hospital project in Dublin whilst seconded to Laing International.

In 1996 Chris left John Laings having being offered a contracts manager role in a company specialising in Architectural Metalwork.

After a further 7 years he became Contracts Director at Cryotherm Ltd, a fire protection company in Bradford thereby he gained detailed knowledge of all aspects of passive fire protection.

In 2006 Chris joined Horbury Group as Senior Contracts Manager overseeing circa £10m per annum. This was in internal drywall and general fit out contracts. Chris thoroughly enjoyed his time at Horbury.

He decided to join David Harris on the board of Directors at Pyrotect in 2014. He subsequently took the role of Managing Director in July 2015.
